4.6.11. At the first signs of a thunderstorm, the employer must stop all loading and detonator connecting operations. The employer must evacuate the blasting area, prohibit access thereto and supervise the situation from a distance.

4.6.11. All loading operations and connection of electric blasting caps shall be stopped at the first signs of a thunderstorm. If blastholes have already been loaded and primed, the danger zone shall be evacuated and no one is to be allowed therein.
